First Shoot with Hasselblad H1 and Phase One Digital Back Combo
Having announced the expected arrival of my P20 Phase One Digital Back for my Hasselblad H1 a few of you have been wondering where the latest images from this digital back are ..... so I thought I would share these with you here.
There hasn't been much in the way of good natural light this week so today was the first day without rain and the ideal opportunity to give this set up a bit of a test, with about the last half hour of day light left. So I went for a walk along the canal to see what I could find to shoot.
Both shots are at F2.8 at ISO 100 at about 1/250 sec with a 80 mm lens the first I just felt worked better in b&w to show the texture of wet stones on the tow path:
The second shot is of a very enterprising boat owner who has jewery for sale ...if you want to get your Christmas bargains never mind the busy shops this is the place to go ... :-)
I am very pleased with the results which are hard to really see in the low resolution images here. This back is the closest thing to film I have yet used, its latitude and tonal range are head and shoulders above other DSLRs the next test will be a studio product shoot later in the week, which I am really looking forward to.
Marc;-)
