Tate 08 Series : William Blake "The River of Life" Tate Partners Preview Night.
Last night I was again at the Tate, not yet as an exhibitor though, but as the official photographer.
This was the preview night for Tate Partners (Sponsors: Cains, DLA Piper and Manchester Airport Group), to a wonderful exhibition of work by the very revered William Blake. Personally I think Blake was one of the greatest artists to have ever lived his work encompassed painting, printing, poetry and spiritual philosophy he has certainly been an inspiration to many people, and we all have the opportunity to see this
body of his work from today though to the end of March 2009. It is great to go along to these events and be one of the first to see them, but my role on the night is not spectator so I will be heading back as visitor to have a real good look very soon. I hope you also get a chance to see
this inspiring work. Marc;-)
