Yesterday I had the pleasure to do some commissioned portrait photography for author India Grey.
India is a much published romantic fiction writer mainly with Mills and Boon and has in the past found a lot of her time has been taken up with last minute
photoshoots prior to book launches etc, so she decided to take control of the situation and get her own images in advance.
We had what was a fun couple of hours and produced some very usable images which India can use for future press releases etc. I know like most people India was a little nervous of having her photograph taken after having had a few shoots with other photographers where the images where less than flattering. Hopefully I have changed her opinion of our profession, and know she is happy with the the initial results by way of proofs that she has seen the results a couple of which I have shared here.
The weather wasn't the best so all shots were indoors, which helped to create some cozy and homely images.
