Manipulation

Polaroid SX-70 film has some unique qualities about it which means it can be manipulated during and after it's developing process. This is due to the films very unique malleable gelatin chemical base and the outer surface layer of Mylar which are very reactive to different pressures being excerpted on them. The results of which allows the artist the ability to literally sculpt their photographic image in any way they wish.
Here is an example created with my first shot using SX-70 vintage camera and some in date Polaroid film from Polarpremium.
You really need to either see this in the flesh or at least as a close up to appreciate the texture created by this method as here with a small section.
This is part of my multimedia personal project work and will be featuring more once I have fully mastered the technique and developed a style that I like.
Thanks for looking.
Marc;-)
