With a little help from my friends ...

A BIG thank you to Warren for helping me out today.

The images above are not mine but Warren's, as I was unable to make today's planned shoot at Vale Royal Abbey due to inadvertently parking my car in a field after trying to avoid a rabbit on the road at 8 am this morning !

This is one reason why I think it is is good to network with other like minded photographers and try and help each other out when ever possible with either ideas or support this also ensures the client is never let down.

Last April another photographer friend (John) helped me with a wedding when although I made the wedding I couldn't shoot the ceremony as I had such a bad cough it prevented me being in my usual position at the front of the room. John did the honours and did the the back role for this part of the shoot.

I find some photographer see all other photographer as their competitors, this to me is a very wrong assumption to make, yes we are all chasing business and yes sometimes the same business, but those who think they are above the rest and don't need the support of colleagues will come unstuck and the person who will suffer most will not be so much them but the client. They will also find themselves in a vacuum in a constantly changing business world, I know I have learned so much from sharing knowledge with fellow amateur and professional photographers alike.

I also hope in some small way this Blog now being followed by quiet a few photographers helps to share ideas and please remember feedback is always welcome.

Marc;-)
