But I think personally it is worth the effort, how else could I have got such great images from a family portrait shoot today, if there was not that magic ingredient of a young child and a puppy ?
This also to me shows that family portraits, with young children especially, need to be in familiar surrounds, like their own home, rather than a studio. In essence environmental portraiture rather than that ubiquitous studio white background which says absolutely nothing about the subject.
