Yesterday was great day for a wedding mostly sunshine, and cooler than the very hot weather of last week, which made for an almost perfect day for Dominic & Hilary, who got married at St Dominic's Church in Stone and had there reception at Hilary's family home near Market Drayton. There was a a short flurry of rain perfectly timed at the end of the formal group shots but this had little effect on damping anyones spirits and I am sure everyone who attended really had a wonderful day.

What I thought I would do here in sharing the images of this really lovely day is to give a couple of installments on my Blog ...... This first one is called "In Cars" because these particular images revolve around the cars involved on the wedding day, the car is always significant to the day, and even more so in this instance, because the the Bride and Grooms vintage Bentley was supplied for the day as a wedding present by the owner and driver.

I have also recently been working on moody sepia toned images and at the moment this is my preferred presentation of a monochrome image, hence my post shoot editing of these particular images here reflects this, there is something, both timeless but also also very warm and "now" about these images. I hope that those who view these also like them for similar reasons. The other aspect of these particular images is that some of them also have a certain abstract approach to them to draw the viewer more into the mood and atmosphere of the wedding day rather than just a pictorial documentary of things as they happen.
There will be more images from this wedding to follow shortly.Labels: car cars church sepia images, marc byram wedding photography cheshire
