There are usually three speeches and Bestman's Speech has the most entertainment value for the guests and the most embarrassed for the Groom ... !
One of the best parts of full days photography coverage of a wedding is the speeches the humour and emotion of this part of the wedding lends itself so well to a photojournalist approach. The only thing I find is I have to keep reminding myself that i am there to capture these moments ....it wouldn't be the first time that I have been enjoying the the event so much I have spur myself back into action rather than listening to what is being said.
Here we can see Chris in action as Bestman at Scott & Claire's wedding he was totally brilliant and had the whole room in stitches ...
The couple also did what is starting to become more common done now, and to have the speeches before the meal, the real advantage of this is that it allows those making the speeches to then be able to relax and enjoy their meal, top marks ....Claire & Scott this worked really well, and Chris that was one of the best speeches I have heard for a while.
